2. Enter The Rules

3. Fields contain the patient data

4. The operator choices are dependent on the field type selected

5. Values can be entered or selected from a pop up list depending on the field

6. Additional Rules start with

• AND        if both rules must be true
• OR                if either rule must be true
• NOT IN        excludes patients for which this rule is true

7. Add brackets and rules to calculate as a group. This is often required with OR rules.
